- Shop around. And by that I mean visiting the stores and checking online. If you find a system that you like online, check its feature at a neighborhood store. Try to feel the system before you buy it.
- Try to stay away from computers that come pre-packed with software bundles and games that you might never use. This only inflates the price.
- You don't really have to buy an additional warranty! Think more about it before committing to the extra cost.
- See if you can save on buying essential software and the computer at once. See if you can save by buying Microsoft Office along with your new computer for example.
